Keeper of the Lost Cities is the first of many books by Shanon Messenger. It’s about 12 year old Sophie Foster who learns something that will change the world as she knows it to change completely. I think this book is fantastic because it has lots of action and fun characters. My favorite part is when Sophie meets Dex, my favorite character. The writing style of this book is great, because it’s all from Sophie’s point of view. I would recommend this book for late elementary or middle school readers. If your looking for a book with lots of plot twists, adventure and mystery you should read Keeper of the Lost Cities.
