The novel Haunting Adeline by H.D Carlton contains many aspects that readers may find disturbing. Such as stalkers, murder and cults. "Haunting Adeline" follows Adeline Reilly who catches the eye of a dangerous man named Z. Adeline is a successful writer who just moved into her late grandmother’s home. She soon finds out his motive behind stalking her.
In this dual perspective book, there are a lot of morally gray moments that allow you to understand why the characters do certain things. I rate Haunting Adeline as a 5 out of 5, while some parts were questionable, the author writes the characters well and the suspense of the plot will keep you reading. I would not recommend this book for the faint of heart or those who don't like gore and violence.
