Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library is a novel by Chris Grabenstein that follows twelve year old Kyle Keeley. Kyle and his friends love playing games created by Luigi Lemoncello. Upon learning about an essay writing contest where the prize is the first to visit a grand new library opened by none other than Lemoncello himself, Kyle decides to join despite his distaste for books and writing. After emailing Lemoncello himself to send his essay in, Kyle is announced as one of the winners that get to visit the library. Upon entering the library, the winners are tasked with challenges to see who can break out of the library. Through a tough competition filled with twists and turns, it’s up to the children to see who can deduce the clues and break out! This is one of my favorite reads and I would recommend this book to anyone as it is just an all around good book. The concept of the book is so fun and the escape room like concept makes it a very engaging read!
