Twilight is a supernatural romance novel that follows Bella Swan as she moves to a rainy town called Forks. She finds herself sitting next to Edward Cullen in Junior Biology. Now, Edward isn’t any normal boy, he has pale skin and a perfect face. But, Bella can’t seem to connect with him. Had she done something wrong?
I would recommend this book to 8th graders that like to feel a little scared and see some serious character development. Edward goes from being a weird acting, strikingly beautiful young man to being a caring boyfriend that doesn’t know what’s for his own good. My only criticism is the book has a slow start, but stick with it!
