I was somewhat disappointed with the lack of background information about the Holocaust and the other uprisings which inspired the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. I would recommend Mila 18 to anyone with an interest in historical fiction, particularly those intrigued by World War II and the Holocaust. Mila 18 offers a powerful and unforgettable exploration of the human capacity for both cruelty and heroism. I give this book a four out of five stars.
