This is Our Story by Ashley Elston is a book with a question that is established early on, and I was immediately hooked from the first few pages. The book conveyed its characters' emotions wonderfully, and really showed how little trust there is within the group of suspects. I could understand why the characters acted how they did. The book features multiple point of views, even the one of the killer, while still hiding their identity until the end. The interrogation segments of the book let you have your own thoughts on who was the killer, and the mystery kept going deeper and deeper the longer you read. That being said, I felt like the romance subplot took over the mystery aspect in the middle of the story. It seemed rushed. Even then, the emotions were understandable and realistic, and the pairing felt interesting. This was a book I really enjoyed, aside from the plot throwing a curveball at you in the middle of the book.
