If Only I Had Told Her is a romance book about Finny, Autumn and Jack. If Only I Had Told Her is the follow up book following 1st Finny then Jack then Autumn. It starts on Finny's last day then follows Jack's Grief as he processes Finny's death, then it shows Autumn's mental state. Autumn and Finny are neighbors and they are in love with each other and they don't realize until the end of the 1st book. They both had a boyfriend or girlfriend but Autumn got dumped and Finny broke up with his girlfriend and they realized their love for each other. But once Finny Died autumn struggled and Finny's best friend Jack had to hold it together for college.
Personally I would have enjoyed this book more if it showed more of Finny's perspective because we only got a sliver of time that had his point of view and I think it might have been better if we got more.
I enjoyed this book a lot because the character development of Jack and his character was amazing. The author did a great job with showing the character's emotions
