As a thriller, this book did make me scared at some points. It a great to read at night. Sadly, that is probably the only good thing about this book. What do you take when you get a famous young adult romance author who wants to write in a new genre? Here's the answer, a slasher book mostly about romance. There's nothing wrong with romance, I just didn't expect this whole book to be centered on it. Also, in my opinion we find out who the serial killer is, way too soon in the book. There is also no amazing plot twist, which is a key detail to make a book a great thriller. I would not recommend this book to anyone who is expecting a good mystery/thriller book. However, if you are interested in a bloody romance then this book is for you! If you are looking for five-star thrillers, then I would recommend Agatha Christie.
