Death-Cast has just made its latest calls to the people who will die sometime in the next twenty-four hours. Goodbyes are being said, and last minute wishes are being fulfilled. For Mateo Torrez and Rufus Emeterio, total strangers before the call that changed their lives, all they want is a friend who understands. Through an app especially for people on their last day, they get to talking, and decide to meet up. Their goal? To live their future in their last moments.
I absolutely, completely, totally loved this book. Easily top five favorite, with a riveting dystopian feel and gorgeous characters. While it was sad, it reminded me that sadness is beautiful because of the happiness that comes with it. There is no life without death, and Adam Silvera truly exemplified that in this book. I highly anticipate the next book, and hope it lives up to my new standards. I rate this book a five out of five stars, as it truly was an amazingly beautiful book. So glad I read it, and I recommend it to anyone who loves a good heart-wrencher.
