She and Xaden must now fight a whole new host of relationship problems, family problems and political problems. Talk about a lot going on! Violet must make some of the hardest decisions she’s ever had to make, plus face the fiercest foes she has yet.
I give this book four stars mostly because that is what I rated the first one. I love these books for the fast-paced plot, the amazing romance subplot, and the page-turning action. However, Violet is sometimes a little bit too immature and whiny for me. Xaden remains a favorite though, with his witty humor and strong love for Violet. This book does end on a cliffhanger, and I can’t wait for the third book, Onyx Storm, to come out this December!
