Beyonders: A World Without Heroes, a fantasy novel, written by Brandon Mull, tells a story of an exciting journey to find “The Word”. Jason was teleported into an entire new world. He also meets another girl from planet Earth. They both desired to go home and see their family, however Jason and her were forced to go on a mission to seek different syllabuses scattered around Lyrian to create a word that would destroy the emperor. They faced many challenges ranging from man-eating frogs, assassins, and even giant titan crabs. Despite these challenges, through the aid of allies, they uncovered the entire word. In the end, their efforts were in vain, and the phrase was actually fake and could not destroy the emperor. Jason is captured and the next events that unfold are in the next books.
This book is one of my all-time favorite fantasy books ever. It is so action packed and takes you through a journey of excitement and danger. Brandon Mull’s creativity and story writing creates the perfect wild fantasy book. I would recommend this book to really anyone who enjoys fantasy and fiction novels. It also made me feel like I could swing across vines and slay enemies.
