In Captain Underpants and the Sensational Saga of Sir Stinks-A-Lot, the twelfth book in the series, George and Harold face their smelliest villain yet. Sir Stinks-A-Lot, a gym teacher turned evil, devises a plan to mind-control students into becoming well-behaved robots, and only Captain Underpants can stop him.
I’d give this book a five out of five because it’s packed with fresh humor and the hilarious concept of a villain who uses stink to control kids. The story has a lot of action and ridiculous fun, making it a perfect continuation of the series. The mind-control plot adds an interesting dynamic to the adventure, and Pilkey’s clever use of silly, inventive humor keeps readers engaged. As always, the flip-o-rama pages add an interactive element that young readers will love.
