Echoes and Empires is about Josslyn Drake, a seventeen-year-old girl. One night while at the Queen’s Gala, she walks into the wrong place at the wrong time and gets infected with magic. She has only been taught a few things about magic: it’s evil, it will ruin your life, and anyone who has magic inside of them will be executed. Josslyn has to team up with Jericho Nox (the person who was trying to steal the magic) to get it out of her before it’s too late. I’m not going to say much more about the plot so I don’t spoil anything, but I will say that this book was one hundred percent amazing! If you like fantasy books, you’ love this! I would rate it five out of five stars because it was really easy to understand what was going on in the story and something was always going on (the story was constantly developing). In short, please read this book! It’s really quite an incredible book!
