All the Jingle Ladies is a realistic fiction teen romance novel that follows the fifteen-year-old, Molly, through the Christmas season. Her family is the Brussel Shouts, also known as the band, that infamously wrote the song “Love Your Elf”. As a little girl, Molly dressed up as the starring elf in her family’s music video, not knowing how much embarrassment this would cause later in life. To avoid anyone recognizing her, Molly stays far away from anything Christmas, that is, until she meets someone. When she’s with this certain someone, she wants a Christmas movie romance, complete with hot cocoa and ice skating. Towards the end of the book, Molly realizes his identity, changing everything.
My favorite part of the book is Molly and her best friend Grace throwing an epic party for Holly Hospice! This book got me in the Christmas spirit, and if you’ve ever looked for a Hallmark Christmas movie, but in a book form, look no farther! I would recommend this book to anyone spending their winter break watching holiday romance movies!
