In a dark and gritty Gotham City, a serial killer known as the Riddler is terrorizing the city, leaving a trail of cryptic clues and gruesome murders in his wake. Enter Batman, a brooding and intense vigilante who has been watching over Gotham for two years. As Batman delves deeper into the mystery, he must confront his own demons and team up with unlikely allies, including Lieutenant James Gordon and Selina Kyle, to unravel the Riddler's sinister plot.

I gave The Batman a perfect score because it's a masterclass in storytelling, atmosphere, and character development. Robert Pattinson shines as a dark and complex Batman, bringing a new level of depth and nuance to the character. The film's slow-burning tension and clever plot twists will keep you on the edge of your seat, and the supporting cast delivers impressive performances across the board. However, this might not be as enjoyable for you if you’re not a fan of movies with a dark tone and slow-paced plot. One of the standout aspects of The Batman is its atmospheric and immersive world-building. The film's Gotham City is a dark and foreboding place, and the cinematography and production design perfectly capture the city's gritty and decaying vibe. I also appreciated the film's thoughtful and nuanced exploration of Batman's character, which adds new layers to the iconic superhero. The Riddler is a chilling and unpredictable villain, and his cat-and-mouse game with Batman is both captivating and unsettling. Overall, The Batman is a gripping and unforgettable cinematic experience.
