The book, The Hardy Boys: The Great Coaster Caper written by Franklin Dixon, is about two detective brothers, 8-year-old Joe Hardy and 9-year-old Frank Hardy. Together they crack cases around their hometown of Bayport. The story takes place at an amusement park called Thrill Kingdom. There is a competition to see who can make the best model of roller coaster to hopefully be added to the amusement park! Frank and Joe’s friend, Phil, worked hard to make his 3D model. Unfortunately, someone broke his model by accident! Or did they?
Overall, I rate this book a 4 out of 5. This book is fun to read, not being too hard to understand and easy for kids and adults of all ages. The mystery in this book will give you a head scratching read because of the fun twists and crazy truths. The plot is fun, making the reader more entertained!
