All Autumn Collins wanted to do this weekend was go on a nice weekend getaway with her friends and maybe confess to her longtime crus. While she was at it the crappiest luck possible got her stuck inside of a library alone instead. Well, maybe not fully alone. Instead, she is stuck with the school bad boy Dax Miller who she knows nothing about except that he might be trouble. She thought she would just be stuck for an hour or so until her friends realized she was missing but for some reason, no one is coming to get her.
I really liked By Your Side. That's why I've read it multiple times. It’s sweet, interesting, and a genuinely endearing romance. I loved getting to know Autumn and Dax and this book had some amazing emotional beats. It’s fairly short but manages to capture a lot of stuff really well. There are several twists and turns and a genuinely amazing moment at the end where she has a big realization about herself and her life that I don't want to spoil. If you enjoy sweet contemporary romance with emotional moments hopefully, you’ll love this book like I do.
