Five Survive is a thriller novel about six friends who are going on a road trip for spring break. On the way, their RV breaks down in the middle of a forest at night. They quickly realize that it was not an accident. There is a sniper outside of the RV who wants one of the people in the RV to reveal one of their secrets. Throughout the book, many secrets are uncovered, trust is broken, and tensions rise. Overnight, the lives of these people changed, and with many twists and suspense, only 5 people made it out alive by the morning.
I loved this book! It was filled with unexpected twists and turns and kept me on the edge of my seat. As someone who doesn’t read a lot, this book made me read for hours on end. As a reader, I was trying to piece together all the details and solve the mystery, but as the book went on, so many secrets were discovered, causing my thoughts on specific characters to change drastically. The book was extremely well-written and allowed me to visualize what was going on in every scene. If you enjoy a mystery book that keeps you hooked, I highly recommend this book. I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.
