The Incredibles is a very well-done movie that showcases a unique take on the superhero genre. The movie introduces a world where there are supers born with their powers who use their powers to save the world. One day their powers are banned, and they have to live an ordinary life. Many years later they are drawn into action again by a mysterious message leading to the confrontation with a mysterious villain. The story is kept simple, but the characters are well-designed, each character has depth and is given good background. The addition of the family element is also what made this movie unique from other superhero movies. Each detail is chosen carefully and has a meaning, for example the Incredibles family’s powers mimic the personalities and emotions of their respective character. The movie has a lot of realism and deals with real life topics. The progression of each character is also kept very organic. It is packed with action and fun moments that add more charm to the movie. The movie had a unique take on the superhero genre and the story was good. I give this movie a 4.2 out of 5 and recommend it to be watched by people who love animated movies.
