Ratatouille is an amazing movie with an amazing story. It's one of the best movies to watch casually and to enjoy, as it has a simple plot with a unique concept. The movie introduces to Remy, a rat who has an ambition to become a chef, inspired by chef Auguste Gusteau’s philosophy that anyone can cook. Whereas his family is more concerned with survival. While the plot is simple and predictable, the movie executed the story well with a good balance between various elements of the movie. It has character development, moments of tension, comical scenes, and emotional depth that adds a layer of complexity to the movie making it an amazing experience. The whole vibe of the movie is cozy, nostalgic and meant to be inspirational and dreamy with a beautiful backdrop of Paris sprinkled with intricate details throughout the whole movie. The pacing is also well done, and often we see the movie slow down and take its time in some places to help portray emphasis and charm on the moment. My favorite part of this movie is definitely the ending. All the cooking in the movie is very detailed and realistic, especially the final dish. I give this movie a 4.8 out of 5.
