Steve Sheinkin wrote the book Impossible Escape. It is a true story of heroism and survival in Nazi Europe. The book is based in 1942, Nazi occupied Slovakia. Teenager Rudi Vrba is trying to escape to freedom but is captured by Nazi Secret Service. He is sent to one of the most dreaded concentration camps in Germany, Auschwitz. After spending two years in the most notorious camp, suffering from intolerable and inhumane conditions, he's had enough. It's time to escape.

I rate this book 5 out of 5. The author did well in describing the conditions for Rudi. It shows lots of determination and courage from both the people who perished and the people who managed to live to see the end of the war. It gives incredibly good imagery, making it easy for the readers to understand the book.
