Stick Cat: Two Catch a Thief is the 3rd book of the Stick Cat book series, written by Tom Watson. It starts with Stick Cat having to pull out Edith through the hole in the bathroom wall that connects their two humans’ apartments - again. As they relax and take a nap, they suddenly hear a loud rumble in their ceiling. Edith believes that it is an elephant, but then a burglar comes out of the air vent. Stick Cat knows he can’t do anything by himself, so he must let the burglar go while Edith happily eats the tuna he leaves. However, the burglar then goes to Edith’s apartment and takes something precious of hers. Then, she agrees to find a plan to take the burglar down. Will Stick Cat and Edith help return their owners’ stolen possessions, and prevent the burglar from robbing any future victims?
This book was really amusing. The cats’ personalities are really shown, like how Edith is slightly selfish but also gets distracted easily, while Stick Cat is determined. I also enjoyed the twist at the end when Goose, Stick Cat’s human, and Tiffany, Edith’s owner, meet. Because of all this, I give this book a five out of five.
