Twilight is the first book in a fantasy romance series that is about the story of Isabella Swan, a quiet and introverted teenager who moves from Phoenix, Arizona, to Forks, Washington. Bella’s world is turned upside down when she meets the mysterious Edward Cullen. From the moment they meet, there’s a strange connection between them, though Edward initially acts mean and distant. As Bella becomes more curious about his strange behavior, his supernatural speed, strength, and ability to read minds, she soon uncovers a dangerous secret: Edward is a vampire. Rather than being scared, Bella falls in love with him, and Edward also starts loving her. He reveals that he and his family are “vegetarian” vampires, meaning they survive on animal blood rather than human blood. Still, there is a risk to Bella, especially because Edward is fascinated with her scent.

I loved reading this book because it is a romantic and emotionally intense book that explores the tension between love and danger. I love how the author creates a vivid setting with Forks, improving the mysterious tone of the story. The chemistry between Bella and Edward is central to the book and is very important to the plot. However, the writing style is very repetitive and too focused on Edward’s physical traits. Twilight has had a massive impact by making supernatural romance popular. Overall, this is a beautiful story that will keep readers on the edge of their seats. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys fantasy and romance books because it is an amazing combination of the two.
