10 Things I Hate About You is a film about a rebellious and edgy girl named Kat. Kat has a younger sister named Bianca, who is kind and popular. The two sisters have a very strict father, who is incredibly strict about boys in particular. Bianca is very eager to have a boyfriend, and she asks her father if she is allowed to. In return, her father says that she is only allowed to date when Kat does. As Kat has no interest in boys, this makes it incredibly hard for Bianca. As a solution, the boy who has a crush on Bianca, Cameron, pays a guy to take out Kat. This man, Patrick, is interesting and edgy, same as Kat. At first, he only did it for the money, but later ends up falling in love with Kat. This movie is heartwarming, and hilarious. The main characters make this movie incredibly enjoyable, and a feel-good movie overall. I recommend this movie to anyone who wants a laugh, or who is struggling to find companionship. This movie gives hope to others that they can find someone for them, even against all odds.
