I really like fantasy books that have magical elements in them, so this book was hard for me to put down. The book was easy to follow along to, and is very up-to-date; it talks about topics such as racism, climate change, and hate crimes. The author doesn’t try to make the main character perfect or likeable; instead, the author makes her original by showing her flaws and imperfections. I really enjoyed the cover; I love the art style and the colors that the author used for the background. I also like how there are symbols in the four corners of the cover, each represent something from the book. If you enjoy reading about paranormal, witches, or mystery, this is a good fit for you!
