All That’s Left in the World is a survival book written by Erik Brown. The book is about two teens in a world where a super flu killed most of the world, and everyone else needed to find a way to survive. It was great to see how far they came, from Jamie pulling the gun at Andrew when he first came to loving each other. The author did an excellent job of showing how ruined and lonely the world was after the super flu and how everyone died. I still do not completely understand why they had to leave the cabin (besides Howard's crew) because they had everything needed to survive. It also took me a while to trust Cara (the person who knew how to get out of Fort Caroline). It was very tense when Jamie was nearing death near the end of the book, but he luckily survived due to some people who gave him the things necessary to survive (one guy was Eddie, but I forgot the other guy's name). At the end, when they went to Florida and saw so many people and told Henri's daughter that Henri was still alive, it was great. They all had excellent survival skills, and his mom's book had a lot of important info. Overall, I liked how unpredictable it was and how the author showed the difficult journey of going across the country and finally making it to Florida.
