American Dream is 21 Savage’s third studio album containing 15 tracks. The album cover contains a young 21 Savage smiling at the camera. The features of this album include Doja Cat, Young Thug, Metro Boomin, Lil Durk, Travis Scott, Summer Walker, Brent Faiyaz, Burna Boy, Tommy Newport, Mikky Ekko, and Mariah the Scientist. Production was handled by Metro Boomin himself, London on da Track, Scribz Riley, Allen Ritter, OG Parker, Cardo, FnZ, and Honorable C.N.O.T.E., among others.
I partially enjoyed this album. The violent songs on this album juxtapose the innocent-looking album cover. The intro to this album was beautiful, and the features did good, but they didn't add too much. Similar to most albums there were good and bad tracks. The lyricism, I felt like this album was more of an experimental album where 21 tried new styles. It contains both slow and fast-paced songs. When listening to an album it should be consistent to a certain tone or image. The transitions between fast and slow-paced songs were odd to me. Although, overall, this album was still good, and I enjoyed some tracks on it.
