Simon Snow and his crew are back from America with another person with them, Shepherd. Simon and Baz must face a new mage who claims to be the chosen one, while Shepherd and Penny try to get rid of Shepherd’s curse. This book is the end to this trilogy and summarizes all the loose ties very well.
This book is my second favorite in the trilogy as it was so sweet and wholesome in some parts and heroic in others. I’m so glad everyone gets a happy farewell at the end of the book. I would recommend this book or this trilogy as a whole really to anyone who enjoys feeling the wonder of a fantasy world and a bit of romance sprinkled in!
