Bailey is just trying to get on a plane to go see one of her parents, as they are recently divorced and live far away from each other, when Charlie and all of his ego has a seat next to Bailey. Bailey is so irritated by him, but he won’t let up with all of the talking. So Bailey is shocked when she sees him years later promposing to his girlfriend at a movie theater and he looks a lot cuter than Bailey remembered. Bailey is even more shocked when she sees him at her job orientation a year later and finds out they are going to have to work together. Bailey and Charlie, against the odds, begin to form a friendship based on both having divorced parents and wanting to make their parents significant others, as miserable as possible. This friendship begins to take a turn for something new when Charlie comes on a trip with Bailey, her mom, and her mom’s boyfriend, just to make the boyfriend mad.

This was a good, funny read. I am beginning to enjoy Lynn Painter’s books more and more, as they are all different, but all have the same vibe to them. In this book, I love how Painter used her classic modern references, that any teen reader will appreciate. I would recommend it to any young adult romance lover. Overall, a funny, romance that I couldn't put down, this being quite literally, it was that good!
