Let me just start off by saying that this book is one of my favorite books of the Big Nate series. This book has an amazing plot, interesting characters, and lots and lots of humor! Another reason why I love this book is because it incorporates little illustrations, and helps us visualize the book so well! I would definitely recommend this book to people who enjoy humorous and witty books! The story begins with Nate Wright, and how he created a cartooning club known as the doodlers. The school they go to (PS 38), has a major rivalry with their sister school: Jefferson Middle. Jefferson was known to beat PS 38 at every academic or athletic competition. Then one day, PS 38 has to close down due to water damage and mold, and their students have to attend at their rival school! Nate and the other kids finally get tired from being made fun of at Jefferson, so Nate comes up with the idea to issue a competition against Jefferson, one that could alter the course of the rivalry between the two schools!
