Jeff Kinney’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever throws Greg Heffley into a winter nightmare as he gets snowed in with his family—just as he’s on the verge of getting in trouble for accidentally vandalizing school property. With the power out, supplies running low and his little brother Manny making life even harder, Greg is stuck trying to survive both the freezing cold and his family’s antics. As always, Kinney delivers nonstop humor with Greg’s sarcastic observations and exaggerated reactions to everyday struggles. The mix of holiday chaos, school troubles and classic Heffley family dysfunction makes Cabin Fever a hilarious and highly relatable read. I found this book really funny because it perfectly captures how frustrating it is to be stuck inside with family for too long.
