George and Harold are back at it again with their pranks. It is the Second Annual Invention
Convention at Jerome Horwitz Elementary School, and George and Harold decide to sabotage all
of students’ inventions. However, they soon are caught and punished by their principal, Mr. Krupp,
but George and Harold still haven’t learned their lesson. They decide to make a new Captain
Underpants comic, and once they are done they try to use one of the students’ machines to make
some copies of their new issue. However, it soon ends up backfiring when the machine brings the
talking toilets in the book to life. Now George, Harold, and Captain Underpants must find a way
to stop the talking toilets before they eat everyone and take over the school!
Captain Underpants is a great book series for kids. The stories are filled with all sorts of
action, entertainment, and especially humor. I always enjoyed the series, and I really enjoyed this
book as much as I did as a kid. However, this book wouldn’t take too long for more older kids and
teens to finish, so I would really recommend it mainly for more younger kids in elementary school
who are developing stronger reading skills. Still, Captain Underpants is a good book series to read
for any kid who wants to read a good story filled with lots of humor.
