Captain Underpants and the Big, Bad Battle of the Bionic Booger Boy Part 2 is the 7th Captain Underpants book written by Dav Pilkey. The book begins with Sulu the Bionic Hamster holding the three booger men in his mouth and launching them out into outer space onto a planet. It seemed like all was well, until George and Harold found out that Mr. Krupp and Melvin’s bodies were switched, and the combin-a-tron that could switch them back was destroyed. The person with Melvin’s brain then had to build a time machine so they could retrieve the combin-a-tron and come back. When they came back, they switched Melvin and Mr. Krupp so that the right minds were in the bodies. Unfortunately, Melvin still had the Captain Underpants powers and brings the evil boogers back. He wasn’t willing to help, so George, Harold and Captain Underpants had to go fight on their own, with limited powers. Will they be able to save the day, or will the boogers take over the world?
I found this book really funny, just like all the other Captain Underpants books. There is a lot of action throughout the book as they keep repeatedly having to fight the boogers. It was interesting to read the new spinoff, when George and Harold time-traveled back in time. Because of all this, I give this book a five out of five.
