In the eleventh book, Captain Underpants and the Tyrannical Retaliation of the Turbo Toilet 2000, one of George and Harold’s oldest foes, the Turbo Toilet 2000, makes a comeback. After being accidentally reanimated, the Turbo Toilet 2000 seeks revenge, leading to a chaotic battle between it and Captain Underpants.
I’d give this book a four out of five because, while it’s packed with action and humor, the return of the Turbo Toilet 2000 feels slightly less inventive than previous entries. However, the ridiculousness of the villain still provides plenty of laughs and keeps the fun going. The over-the-top humor and Pilkey’s fantastic illustrations keep the energy high throughout the book. It’s an entertaining read for fans of the series, even if the plot reuses elements from earlier stories.
