When Holden gets expelled from school, he doesn’t want to tell his parents, because it wasn’t his first time. So, instead, he goes to his hometown and explores on his own. As a 16-year-old Holden jumps around bars and hotels as he thinks he can be independent.
I personally really enjoyed this book. I liked a teenager's perspective of Holden. But this book has some topics that are serious and not for children. This book is a great book to read for people over the age of 13 as it covers serious topics. But this book was an eyeopener for me and it is a book that everyone should read!
