In the sequel to The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Katniss thinks she’s safe after their victory, but little do they know their victory has sparked an uprise. Due to the 3rd quarter quell, old victors must compete in the games again, which pulls Katniss and Peeta back in the games. This time is different though, all the tributes are skilled and deadly victors that all know each other, and Katniss and Peeta are the odd ones out. They must make alliances and trust each other to survive. Throughout the book signs of the revolution are sparking, and eventually Katniss does something no one would suspect, she breaks the system which commences the whole revolution.
This is my favorite book in the series because it is filled with action and twists that leave readers wanting to read more. I think the storyline of this book is very well written and makes sense. I enjoy reading and watching the movie and would rate it a 9/10! I would recommend this book to teens because it has a medium-high reading level and its very action filled, which in my opinion would be perfect for teens. I would also recommend to other people who love The Hunger Games series, because this book is the best one! So go check out Catching Fire now, you won’t regret it!
