The Cousins, by Karen M. McManus, is a Mystery/Thriller. A dark, suspicious family continues to hide their secrets. Everything comes to light when Milly, Aubrey, and Jonah's grandmother invite them to work at their grandmother's house. When they go to the island, they realize that their family is more mysterious than they assumed. Milly, Aubrey, and Jonah discover all the secrets.
I enjoyed reading this book because it includes an exciting plot. It also includes much tension between the families, which I enjoyed reading. This book reminds me of We Were Liars, written by E. Lockhart. If you enjoyed reading We Were Liars, you will enjoy this book. Though I think the book went very slow. Surprisingly, I liked the cover. It looked fascinating because it has three photo frames with red ink. I think the cover was what captured my attention.
