When their Grandmother invites them to work on her private island, after mysteriously cutting ties with their parents many years ago, three cousins reluctantly accept. But when they arrive on the island not everything is what it seems. Instead of learning the truth about why their grandma disinherited her children, they are faced with more questions and secrets about the island, their families, and each other.
I enjoyed reading this mystery book. It had many twists and turns that I wasn’t expecting. It did start a little slow in my opinion but after the beginning, I couldn’t put it down. I like the setting of the private island, it felt unique from her other books. I also liked seeing the characters internally struggle with the lack of trust they had with each other and having to trust each other. It made the characters feel more realistic. I would recommend the book to 12+ who like a good thriller and mystery book.
