It’s 1986, and Eleanor just started 10th grade at her local public school. She met a boy, Park, on her bus and started sitting next to him every day because everyone else thought she was weird. She and Park start becoming closer and soon become lovers. In the end, they both lived happily although it might not have been the way they imagined it to be.
I enjoyed this book immensely because this book was like an emotional roller coaster. I liked this book so much not only because it was about their romance, but because of the way it made me feel. Eleanor and Park felt and learned so much by just being together. Although I may have cried multiple times during this book, I felt joy. Happiness that I knew that both Eleanor and Park were in a better place. I would recommend this to literally anyone. I’m sure that almost everyone would be able to enjoy this book.
