One mistaken mortar round. That’s all it was. Doesn’t seem like much, does it? Well, it resulted in ex-CIA agent Ben Ripley being expelled from Spy School. Forced to rethink his entire future in the world of espionage, Ben has to return to regular teenage life. Suddenly, however, he receives an unexpected invitation - this time, to SPYDER’s top secret training facility. Trapped inside a villainous organization, Ben is faced with a simple yet tedious task: infiltrate, gather intel and escape. As a dangerous realization sets in, he realizes that it may be far more difficult than it was in his head…

Evil Spy School offers a fresh, new twist to the otherwise familiar storylines we’ve seen in previous novels. The suspense feels real as he has to pretend to be a part of an organization he should be eliminating in the first place. Ben’s moral dilemmas and feelings of isolation against a literal ticking time bomb make for a tense, fast-paced read. The unexpected plot twists and high stakes keep the momentum strong, making this a strong addition to the Spy School series.
