Fearless is the final book in the Powerless series and is the conclusion of Kai and Payden's story. It follows Paedyn as she becomes the new queen of Ilya after Kitt proposes to her. To prove that she is a worthy queen Paedyn must do three difficult trials in order to become queen. Meanwhile, as enforcer Kai is trying to protect Paedyn from Ilya, who hates her because she killed the king. He’s also trying to find a way to help Paedyn escape as she doesn’t want to marry Kitt. I thought this book was a good ending to the series. I did think that Fearless wasn’t as good as Powerless or Reckless but it was still a good read. My favorite characters are Paedyn and Lenny. I would recommend this book to late middle and high school readers if they are looking for a romance fantasy book.
