Life for an Irish girl changes after she is taken by her father to live with unfamiliar relatives– the Kinsella’s. Unaccustomed to the feeling of love and affection, she learns what a real family is all about with her relatives. Growing closer and closer each day of staying there, the little girl slowly becomes attached to what she now calls her real family.
At first glance, the story seemed like incoherent gibberish, but the narrative of the story had many deeper meanings, making it intriguing and interesting for me to read and analyze. Its incomplete grammar and Irishified English brought character to the story. Although, this aspect of the story made it very hard to understand at some points.
