Beth, an 18-year-old girl moves to New York in June 1983 for her journalism internship. She joins three other interns, Oliver, Dan, and Edie. Edie and Beth click on the first day and have a close friendship. Soon, Beth discovered all the lies and secrets Edie was hiding from her and started to understand that not all people are good in this world.
I really enjoyed this book because it was a very fast-paced story that felt like it could happen in real life. This book might be my new favorite book and I will be raving over this for the entire year due to its relatability. I recommend this to anyone who likes reading a book in the real world from a third-person view.
