After solving the murder case together, Ravi Singh helped Pip create a podcast that soon went viral, but they both swear off sleuthing. When someone Pip knows goes missing, and the police don’t do anything about it, Pip takes matters into her own hands.
The beginning was a bit slow, since the second book was more of a disappearance than a murder. I thought the second book was even more interesting than the first book. Especially near the end, I was so shocked about A LOT of things. Some people who I thought were literally so pure and innocent.
I do suggest reading the first book to understand some parts of the second book. There is some evidence stated in the first book that correlates to the second book.
Another notable mention is that the book is very organized. It tells you exact dates and how long they’ve been missing. Also shows us text messages and picture references. Love the setup!
*SPOILER* The ending is a little sad. I really do pity the guy that died and even teared up a bit.
