In the previous books, A Good Girl's Guide to Murder and Good Girl Bad Blood, the main character Pip Fitz Amobi is revealed. In the previous books, Pip chooses to investigate an old town murder case as her senior capstone project. After the truth comes forth and she begins to confirm the events and decides to create a podcast explaining the reality of the murder case. After someone she knows goes missing in Good Girl Bad Blood, she picks up investigating again even after swearing to never do it again. Despite the mystery having been solved, Pip is still plagued by nightmares while preparing to head off to college. Due to her podcast, online threats directed at Pip have become common but when this anonymous person asks repeatedly, “Who will look for you when you’re the one who disappears?” feels different. The threats escalate and Pip realizes that someone is following her in real life. Pip begins to find connections between her stalker and a local killer and ponders whether the wrong man was put behind bars. The police refuse to act on this “potential” stalker so Pip investigates her stalker for it is either it is life or death. This book brings intense emotion to the reader about what will happen with Pip and the court case involving Max Hastings. I would recommend this book to those who value an action-packed, chilling, and most of all a mysterious story.
