Pippa Fitz-Amobi is done with being a detective. After solving the Andie Bell case with Ravi Singh she has released her podcast and is looking forward to going to Colombia University. Then, Jamie, her best friend Connor’s brother goes missing, the very night of Andie and Sal’s six-year memorial anniversary. Pip knows that the police won’t do anything about it and that something secretive is going on behind the scenes for everyone in Fairview. The first book in the A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder series was thrilling, it was jaw-dropping and it kept you on the edge of your seat. In my opinion, Good Girl Bad Blood was lacking this severely. There was just not the same tension when reading this book and that is an important aspect to be missing. Also, I did pick up this book a couple of months after reading the first one and for some reason, Pip’s friends were forgettable. Her friends don’t play a huge role in the first book yet I feel like they didn’t have any personality to remember them by, which they should have. I like how we learn more about a certain character that was mentioned here and there in the first book. I’d give this a solid three stars. Overall, I wouldn’t not recommend this book, and if you read this then take my review with a grain of salt because I think most people
