A Good Girl's Guide to Murder takes place in Fairview, Connecticut where Pippa
chooses to investigate a closed-case murder in her hometown for her senior
capstone project. Pippa has a suspicion that the believed murderer of Andie Bell, Sal
Singh is innocent. Despite the overwhelming majority of the town believing that
Andie’s boyfriend murdered her and then committed suicide, she continues her
investigation along with Sal Singh’s younger brother Ravi. After interviewing people
related to the murder, and learning the truths about her town, she swears to never
investigate again. This book is one of my favorite young adult fiction novels I have
read. The genre is a mystery and detective theme, anyone who enjoys thrillers or
puzzles will likely appreciate this novel.
