Happy Place, by Emily Henry, is a book about a couple, well broken up, who were both invited on a vacation with their friends. Their friends are unaware of the break up, and Wyn and Harriet want to keep it that way. This book follows the story of them “pretending” to still be together the week of vacation.
If you enjoy a one bed book trope, this one is for you! I really enjoyed reading this book. The characters are written so well. I got attached to the characters fast as they are very relatable, and it got me hooked to the book. While the storyline is quite predictable, I still enjoyed following it through. It is a pretty quick and easy read and is great for a pool book!
