Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, written by J.K. Rowling, is the second book in the Harry Potter series. It’s a compelling book with diverse characters and I couldn’t put it down. Harry and his friends try to figure out who is trying to killing the kids at Hogwarts. When word gets out that Harry is Slytherin's heir, everything gets more complicated for him. The most compelling aspect of this book is the beginning, when Harry is rescued by his ginger-haired best friend. I love this book because it made it seem that fantasy was real. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is a very unique book that brings its characters to life; I could see the picture it was painting in my mind when I was reading it. That's why I rate this book a 5/5 stars.
