Instead of the usual, action packed, suspenseful scenes, we get a more tense, slow storyline that explains Voldemort’s history piece by piece. It serves as a turning point in the story, laying the groundwork for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. While the action is subtler, the emotional impact is much heavier as the characters go through loss, love and the weight of their responsibilities.
